What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Accounting qualification is a requirement.
• Minimum 3 years of experience preferably in the financial services sector.
• Must be familiar with IFRS accounting standards.
• Knowledge of sales tax / VAT is a plus.
• Strong experience of working with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Strong English oral and written skills.

Nice to Have:

• Big four experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to effectively interact at all levels within the firm and with its clients.
• Proven ability in building partnerships, collaborating, and influencing clients and team members.
• Ability to handle highly sensitive company/clients’ information confidentially.

What will you do?

• Entrance of data into client accounting systems.
• Function as a bookkeeper for the clients of the firm.
• Create and maintain Fixed Assets Registers.
• Prepare vouchers, book petty cash expenses into client accounting systems reconcile all bank statements for clients.
• Responsible for accruals and provisions and monthly book closing for review by the team.
• Prepare client periodic trial balance, balance sheet, income statement for review by the team.
• Preparation and processing of financial reports and financial statements for clients in coordination with team.
• Assist the team to meet client external and internal auditor’s needs including ledgers, reports, and schedules.
• Partner with all project execution teams to develop and/or enhance processes to make sure that the clients’ needs are met as projects evolve in the most efficient and effective manner.
• Ensure standards and requirements are met through developing and conducting strict quality assurance tests.
• Liaise with project leads and their delivery teams (clients where necessary) to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives.
