Responsibilities:

• Process monthly account payments and check requests.
• Conduct case cost audits and complete settlement statements.
• Manage Clerk of Court balance accounts.
• Handle fund additions and monthly statements.
• Update client cost files and oversee expert costs and expenses.
• Monitor budget and conduct spending analysis.
• Process reimbursements and approve/disburse client loan requests.
• Handle client financing responsibilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and Filipino certified public accountant
• Experience in auditing, budget analysis, and financing.

• Experience in accounts receivable / payable and bookkeeping.
• Experience accounting for US business a plus.

Applicant must be able to perform a variety of professional accounting functions, including, but not limited to, audit functions and assist in various types of accounting projects.

Knowledge & Experience

• 3-5 years plus of recent audit experience

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting

• Demonstrated ability to apply principles of accounting to analyze and prepare financial information

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office & Adobe Acrobat, CS Professional Suite, Quickbooks, etc.

• Experience in tax preparation of simple tax returns is a plus

• Onboarding of new clients in the accounting and bookkeeping teams
• Collating and entering information received from clients and the sales team into our
systems
• Communicating with clients, the sales team and the accounting/bookkeeping teams
in relation to the onboarding process
• Regular reporting to the Practice Manager on the status of client onboarding
• Assisting with setup and maintenance of companies and trusts
• Attending to client offboarding
• Working with the Xero suite, Karbon, Content Snare. Microsoft 365 and other
software as directed
• Ensure all policies and procedures are followed at all times to the best of your ability
• Ensure our client database is updated to the best of your knowledge
• Ensure all correspondence, internally and externally, is professional and in a way that
best represents the client
• Use of professional judgement to seek assistance from team members where
necessary
• Learning about our other businesses and identifying referral opportunities for
those businesses in your client dealings
• Contribution to best practice
• Collaboration with the greater team as required
• Assisting the Practice Manager as required
• Phone answering
• Scheduling of internal and external meetings

• 3 years of relevant work experience in an AU Accounting Firm
• Proven admin experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• XERO software experience
