Shift pattern
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm or 8am – 6pm
Objectives of Services
Bay6 provides a safe environment to offer holistic approach to young people to enable them to gain and develop the skills needed to live independently through one to one support and group work. Our Lancashire Young Carers Service supports young carers on a one to one basis to reduce the impact of their caring role. As the Service Administrator & Finance Officer, you will support with the day to day running of these services.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
Front facing/reception duties with a friendly can-do attitude.
Monitoring income and expenditure against original budget and revised forecasts.
Managing rent accounts, liaising with local authorities, ensuring receipt of housing benefits etc
Processing invoices/purchase orders
To support the Service Manager and wider team with the annual health & safety audit and ensuring there are appropriate risk assessments in place.
Managing VOIDS and repairs
General administration duties to support the day to day running of the service
Essential Requirements to evidence in your written application:
Experience of preparing and managing budgets and financial/statistical information for internal and external reporting requirements.
Experience of day-to-day cash handling and maintaining accurate petty cash records.
Ability to manage workload appropriately, demonstrating efficiency and reliability in meeting deadlines.
Extensive administrative experience
Experience of supervising staff.
