The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the follow-up and quality related issues of suppliers in Mexico, also will make sure that the open orders and deliveries are align through the operational team at the JBT plants. Cross functional support of teams, this position will ensure manufacturing performance and quality goals are met or exceeded to achieve Oshkosh’s strategic and financial goals. Reporting to the Regional Supply Chain Manager - Mexico, this position requires strong quality, heavy fabrication experience, supply chain, manufacturing, and assembly along with the ability to collaborate and influence cross functional areas internally and externally.

SUMMARY:

The Finance Analyst - Payroll will provide payroll services in support of the organization’s business objectives. This role will perform general payroll functions and account reconciliations and provide information for management. The Finance Analyst - Payroll will be involved in weekly time submissions, bi-weekly payroll processing for 4 business units, and general ledger entries.

Partner with internal and external customers to lead and grow the business; assist in analyzing and preparing monthly results for management.
Interact with other departments on business issues that impact financial projections.
Communicate and drive opportunities to deliver best value for customers; support and partner with management in planning, measuring and reporting on performance of business functions.
Responsible for payroll processes for assigned areas and business segments, including account reconciliation.
Assist in the management and administration of business systems and procedures; perform testing and update Sarbanes-Oxley process documentation for changes affecting internal controls.
Develop customer-friendly processes and metrics; perform assigned shared services tasks in accordance with standard work instructions.
Monitor and track key operational benchmarks.
Champion the Oshkosh “People First” competencies to engage, develop, and connect team members.
Identify and support continuous improvement projects while leveraging the Oshkosh Continuous Improvement Management System (CIMS) tools and concepts.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
Four (4) or more years of relevant Payroll experience
Possible limited travel as needed
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Payroll in a manufacturing environment
Comfortable with complexities of payroll processes
