Responsibilities
Provide guidance and support to management and employees on employee relations matters
Conduct investigations into employee complaints and workplace incidents, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws
Mediate and resolve conflicts between employees, departments, or teams, striving for fair and equitable resolutions
Advise management on disciplinary actions, ensuring consistency and adherence to legal requirements
Develop and implement policies and programs that promote positive employee relations and foster a respectful and inclusive work environment
Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and programs to enhance employee morale and satisfaction
Conduct training sessions to educate employees and managers on company policies, procedures, and legal obligations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
[X] years of experience in employee relations or HR advisory roles
Proven knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with employees at all levels
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment

CSW - Senior Social Worker / Advanced Practitioner - 0-25 Disabilities

Purpose of Job
 To work within a Resilience framework, to provide a comprehensive and effective integrated social work service, which responds at a higher level in complex situations to the needs of children and their families in a timely manner, within statutory guidelines and the statutory obligations of the council.
 The post holder will have the skills and ability to practice at a higher level which includes deputising for the line manager in circumstances where the line manager is not available or they are delegate to act in a line management position by the designated Head of Service.
 To take a lead role in a specialist area of work as directed by the departmental policies and procedures.
 The post holder will require substantial post qualifying experience in a statutory Children Social Care setting. It will be desirable for the post holders to have a Practice Educators Award and if not, there will be an expectation that this award is achieved within first year of employment.
 These post holders are experienced social workers who will be more autonomous in their job. They will demonstrate expert and effective practice in complex situations; and be able to assess and manage higher levels of risk in their own and that of other less experienced social workers.
 To assess, plan, implement and evaluate safeguarding and permanence measures at a high level of complexity within their own cases and support and mentor less experienced social workers; to ensure all children are given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
 These post holders should be active participants of the Workforce Development Programme; they will be Practice Educators and assessors to trainee Practice Educators. They will support less experienced social workers and be assessors for NQSWs in the teams in their Assessed and Supported Year in Employment.
 These post holders will work to a structured time management practice; submitting reports, assessments and plans within regulated timescales.
 These post holders will be competent in all areas of the Knowledge and Skills Statements for Chid and Family social workers in addition they will be have Competency in the Knowledge and Skills Statement: Achieving Permanence.

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Technical Lead to join our team. As a Payroll Technical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the technical aspects of our payroll operations. You will work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the payroll process. This role requires a strong understanding of payroll systems, data management, and technical expertise in payroll software.

To ensure the timely, efficient and effective delivery of the Lambeth Payroll Service data file transmission process that meet the needs of internal and external customers and that meet the business needs, priorities and objectives of the Council. E.g.:

• Monthly payroll running.
• Validation reports.
• BACS file transmission to the Financial Transactions Service.
• RTI. FPS and EPS file submissions.
• Payroll file transfer for general ledger submission.
• Other post payroll processes.

Produce monthly employer pension reporting.;
• LGPS I-Connect.
• LPFA employer portal.
• Teachers’ Pensions MDC/MCR and End of Year Certificate.
• NHSPS electronic staff records.
Manage and implement year end / start of new year payroll processes;
• Supplementary payrolls.
• Pay awards.
• Pay increments.
• P60, P6 and P9 uploads.
• Tax code uplift.
• Payroll new financial year period dates.
