Key Role:

Gordon Food Service is hiring an Transportation Payroll Processor. This candidate will compiles, maintains and reviews transportation payroll records to be processed.

Essential functions:

• Completes assigned weekly driver review, identifying issues and communicating with managers to resolve them.

• Reviews support form, processes support pay, and any necessary edits or corrections.

• Runs quarterly accuracy bonus reporting and works with managers to adjust incorrect bonus amounts calculated. 

• Assists managers in requesting access to Cypress reporting.

• Supports the annual rate evaluations for drivers by working with IT and performing necessary data entry of new rates.

• Completes assigned final weekly payroll review.

• Provides first point of contact for many questions from Transportation employees via phone, email and chat. 

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Liaise with Panasonic Group of Companies on logistics activities and manage business plan at regional level
• To oversee LSD function and involve in strategic planning of Logistics solutions
• To capture & analyze logistics KPI by country & by category for further actions
• To enhance regional logistics activities in alliance with NSC and Logistics Committee
• Promote APAC standard process and strategy of Supply Chain among NSC/Factory
• Work closely with respective logistics members and business units in APAC Region
• Analyze logistics cost and other KPIs for guiding to actions for achieving target
• Monthly Regional Activities Reports

Requirements:

• Diploma in logistics or related disciplines
• Computer literacy especially on Excel, PowerPoint and Words at least intermediate

What Do We Want

• At least Degree & above in Automation/ Mechanical / Electrical or Electronic equivalent qualifications.

• Have hands-on experiences in the implementation, maintenance of automation systems in warehouse settings.
• Strongly knowledge of warehouse automation technologies and understand emerging trends and innovations in the field of warehouse automation.
• Understanding of budgeting, cost analysis, and ROI calculations related to automation investments and to achieve maximum ROI on automation solutions.
• Have experiences in guiding installation, debugging and renovations

As an APL Supply Chain Hub Analyst you will be accountable to maintain interface stability and quality between our global systems. Actively support overall activities of a high volume transaction, fast-paced organization. Guarantee process governance when implementing new process. Achieve operational excellence, while complying to Alcon standards. Strong collaboration with cross-functional groups, manufacturing and warehouse operations and provide excellent customer service against market strategies within the correct cost and time frames.

In this role, a typical day will include:

• Provide operational excellence by managing all inbound and outbound transactions into and out of worldwide APL inventory locations, including returns. To ensure the transactions are processed and synchronized in the various different systems

• Ensure advanced support analyzing and solving process and technical issues identified as Idocs errors in collaboration with global cross-functional groups providing timely resolutions and minimizing impact on affiliate/market

• Responsible of inventory reconciliation by supplying and analyzing data to ensure APL system and warehousing systems match in both value and volume. Identify root cause for any differences and support implementing fixes or process improvements

• Ensure supply chain and trading environment compliance with appropriate regulatory authorities and laws including customs, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Alcon Financial Controllers Manual (AFCM), etc. This includes the proper coordination, implementation and overseeing the execution of the required procedures

• Provide customer and operational excellence by actively supporting all product launches / extensions / discontinuations / special promotions

• Manage international orders for our affiliates and distributor markets, working closely with DC/ICDC, manufacturing plants and planning teams to ensure prompt responses and timely processing of orders to meet affiliate/market requirements

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Education (minimum/desirable):

​Higher Education in Supply Chain or Business Administration with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience for large multi-national organizations

• Languages

​Fluency in English essential. French and German is a plus

• Experience

​Ability to drive for results and meet program and project deadlines.
