There is an excellent opportunity for a Test Analyst to join our teams in either Bristol, Basingstoke or Peterborough. The role will be working with life and pension products, so experience in that sector is required.

You be robustly testing the BαNCS systems from a business perspective and ensure a smooth delivery into production both for production support releases and new Transformation releases by:

• To plan and manage test execution for key areas allocated, involving forming relationship network across teams to achieve successful implementation
• To manage and liaise with senior managers both internal and external
• To ensure the accountabilities of the role are delivered in line with Diligenta's values of acting with integrity and honesty

This role is hybrid, so 3 day p/w would be acceptable. There may be times you have to come in more frequently for workshops or large-scale meetings.

• Test scripting phases are completed to quality, productivity and timeline targets across programmes
• To manage and test the critical and complex areas requiring senior attention
• Defects are managed to resolution including definition of solution amendments and that requirement and solution gaps are resolved with the buy in of all stakeholders
• Dependencies are managed - both internal and external and both in terms of business and technology

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Diploma with reasonable work experience OR equivalent relevant laboratory work experience. Fresh graduates with a degree in Science are welcome to apply
• Extremely detail and accuracy-oriented with good written and verbal communication skills
• Computer literate (Word, Excel, Oracle database, Electronic Documentation System) to create spreadsheets, e-mail, memos, graphic, and technical writing skills (create and edit procedures)

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Knowledge and experience of a GxP environment or other regulated industry
• Ability to write clear technical documentation

Job Description

• Keep abreast with regulatory changes, and assist the Compliance Manager in managing, monitoring, and reporting new regulatory changes to local Management and Head Office.
• Updating of local SOPs to comply with current/new regulatory requirements.
• Perform periodic compliance reviews and/or testing for compliance monitoring purposes of policies and procedures.
• Review and validate the quality of the Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) information on the bank's customers, in line with policies, at onboarding and periodic reviews.

• Implement and enhance Group AML/CFT Policy, Standards and operating procedures & controls;
• Execute change impact assessment, develop a Change Management plan, including communication and training plans to ensure the message reaches all impacted users to improve knowledge and risk culture;

JOB REQUIREMENTS :-

• Degree in Finance/ Commerce/ Economics/ Banking/ Law/ Engineering from a recognized university or tertiary institution;
• At least 1-3 years relevant working experience in the area of AML/CFT, compliance, internal audit or risk management in financial services industries;
• Broad knowledge of business, products and operations of the financial services industries (either banks, insurance and capital market firms), familiar with AML/CFT regulatory requirements and international standards;
• AML specialist certification with a recognized institution/association will be an advantage;
• Good interpersonal & communication skills, able to handle difficult situations, adaptable to fast-pace environment and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines;
• Good analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills;
• Resourceful, proactive and able to work independently as well as in a team;

We are looking for an AML Control Analyst (Monitoring & Screening) for our client, a British Universal Bank.

What does the role entail?

Our Client's Monitoring & Screening department is responsible for implementing robust control frameworks aimed at managing and mitigating the risks associated with money laundering arising from cash transactions involving the bank's clients.

This role tasks include ensuring the proper implementation of the control framework, reviewing alerts, and identifying valid alerts for reporting to authorities or escalating to business line owners.

This often entails conducting L1 to L3/SAR investigations. Key attributes for success include operational excellence, regulatory awareness, investigative skills, and adherence to established policies.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Law or equivalent
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience of solid understanding of banking and financial services laws, compliance best practices, and financial products/systems.
• Background in a Financial Investigation Unit or Financial Crime Investigations, with extensive experience in AML or other investigations within regulatory or financial institutions.
• Familiarity with various banking products across Private Banking, Wealth Management, automated AML monitoring/case management systems, name screening tools, and core banking systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of AML and sanctions regulations.
• Certification as an AML specialist is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, meticulousness, and effective communication skills across all levels.

Responsibilities:

• Provide compliance support, consulting services, and monitoring in support of management's business objectives and their responsibility to mitigate risk.
• As point of contact, work closely with Compliance and other Business Users in addressing regulatory queries.
• Provide technical information, responses, or historical data from respective gaming systems as requested by authorities within the given timeline.
• Manage data, supporting documents, correspondence of past and on-going non-compliance incidents
• Communicate and interface with vendors and business users for system investigations that leads to potential non-compliance
• Manage compliance related projects and support on-going systems for any troubleshooting or features enhancements
• Manage regular internal and external audit reviews in line with regulatory and governance requirements, and keep track of the follow up actions

Requirements:

• Well versed in SQL database management and query.
• Experience automation tool would be a plus.
