- Conduct comprehensive legal research using various sources, including online databases, libraries, and other reference materials

- Analyze and interpret legal documents, statutes, regulations, and case law to identify relevant information and implications

- Prepare well-organized and concise summaries of legal research findings for use by the legal team

- Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals to gather information and provide support in employment legal matters

- Conduct legal research on simple contracts, memorandum of understanding (MOUs) and other agreements.

- Maintain accurate records and documentation of research findings and legal resources

- Classify, generate keywords and upload onto the Legal Knowledge Management (KM) system legal advice on (i) procedural and substantive law, (ii) agreements (e.g. contracts, MOUs, Non-Disclosure Agreement NDAs) and (iii) legislative amendment.

- Assist to conduct training on contemporary legal topics to Ministry officers.

Requirements:

- 1-3 years of experience as a Legal Researcher or similar role

- Strong understanding of legal research methods and techniques

- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills

- Attention to detail and ability to work with complex legal documents

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team

- Knowledge of the different types of law (tort, and for which the law imposes civil liability contract, company, etc.)
