You will report to the Director/General Manager and will be responsible for leading the team in the proper implementation and management of the office’s projects including:-

• Preparation of quantities and pricing for tender submission including calling for quotations from sub-contractors and suppliers;
• Preparation of progressive claims and verifying sub-contractors’ claims including visit to project sites as and when necessary;
• Preparation of progressive report, building materials purchasing and delivering schedules including liaising with purchasing department; 
• Possess at least a Advance Diploma in Quantity Survey or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Spearhead overall aspects of on-going construction projects, ensuring on time delivery and compliance with clients’ requirements and ISO standards.
• Fulfil company’s contractual obligation in terms of progress, finance, safety, quality and environmental.
• Liaise with Authority to obtain the necessary works approval.
• Oversee and manage project/program progress reporting such as financial reports, resource forecasts, benefits tracking, and risks / issues management.
• Lead multidisciplinary construction teams to deliver project objectives, implementing policies, procedures, instructions relevant to and required by the QESH system
• Assist contract department for monthly claims management by certifying sub-contract progress claim and delivering claim related information/progress.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Engineering (Architecture / Engineer / Construction Management) or equivalent.
• At least 10 years work experience in interior design renovation field and computer literate
• Willingness and competency to perform as part of a tight-knit team.
• Excellent command of English & Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities: 

• Responsible for coordination, supervision, monitoring and control of architectural and interior design works, planning and organizing site activities, scheduling and controlling on progress of work within the budget and etc. 
• Coordinate and monitor sub contractor's progress and to ensure work is completed according to drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures within the timeline. 
• Monitor and manage material usage and wastage on sites. 
• To liaise and coordinate work flow closely between subcontractors, projects and other departments. 
• Identify, evaluate and resolve problems at construction sites. Ensuring solution is of good quality. 
• To execute assignment according to work schedule through proper planning. 
• To identify and prepare variations order for the project. 
• To report overall project on site to superior. 

Requirements: 

• Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Quantity Survey, Civil Engineering or Interior Design. 
• 5 years relevant experience in Interior Fit-Out field or relevant. 
• Preferably with knowledge & experience in interior design, renovation works, office furniture, lighting/wiring or equivalent 
• Possess hands-on supervision, site coordination experience, site problem solving skills and ability to interpret drawings and details. 
• Hard working, responsible, honest, self-motivated and career-minded. 
• Good communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, highly organized and have the ability for effective planning and supervision. 
• Able to work independently, irregular hours and under tight deadline. 
• Must possess own transport and willing to travel.

4) Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.

2) Preferably with more than 5 years sales-related work in environmental related projects or chemical sales (example waste management & waste-water treatment, renewable energy, waste recycling business and etc.)　

3) Demonstrated capability to conduct technical sales and marketing to clients and understanding of market trends, regulations, and competitors.

About the role
As Financial Controller, you will serve a key business partner and working with the Group CEO and assume a strategic role in the overall financial management of the company. Ideally we are looking for candidate with a professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA/CIMA) or Bachelor degree. To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified Accountant, a member of MIA and have at least 10 years of experience in a senior accounting role. You should have a significant financial control exposure with a track record of management. You will need to have the ability to work effectively and cooperatively with senior member of the organization across the Group. In this aspect, you will have highly skilled in financial reporting and functional experience in financial planning and analysis, accounting and controls.
As this role will have extensive stakeholder relation excellent communication and writing skills will be highly desirable plus strong people management skills.
