Job Description:
The jobholder will be tasked to drive the overall AATC Marketing plan, support Business Development initiatives & Sales Campaigns and seek to increase potential revenue and profit streams. This shall be accomplished through a mature awareness of the market, leading initiatives in identifying & developing new business opportunities as well as enhancing competitiveness. The candidate will complement and work closely with the Business Development and Sales teams for optimum effect.
Primary Responsibilities: Marketing
Strategic Marketing
- Working in a team to develop short to long term addressable and capture flight training markets for each targeted customer segment in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Map out current and future (short to long term) training needs in the region for each customer
- Map out current and future (short to long term) potential competitors
- Identify customer changing behaviours and challenges faced
- Develop Go to Market strategy and customer priorities
- Review win and loss deals and develop appropriate action plans
- Analyse customer feedback and drumbeat relevant actions to improve customer satisfactions and loyalty
Brand marketing
- Develop AATC branding strategy to improve its brand equity, recognition and reputation
- Manage social media platforms (LinkedIn and website) through a timely development and broadcast of relevant contents
- Create and product timely marketing media (digital and physical)
- Promote AATC products and services through periodic organisation, sponsorship and participation in relevant Simulation and Training related industry events.
Flight Experience
- To lead in Flight Experience initiatives
- Develop standard product for general public, schools, institution & airlines marketing
- Identify short to long term addressable and capture flight experience markets for each targeted customer segment in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders
- Review win and loss deals and develop appropriate action plans
Communications and events
- Contribute to achieve optimum synergies in the execution of marketing strategy
- Support company events in coordination with Airbus communications and marketing teams.
- Support organisation and execution of special visits (government, VIP, etc)
- Organise and execute any relevant internal and external events.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Business Development
- Establish and maintain permanent awareness of regional and global training markets. Provide a periodic market assessment to the management covering the assigned region.
- Actively promote synergies between Airbus and Airbus Asia Training Centre through close collaborations
- Prepare and secure AATC’s long term sustainable business through identifying new business opportunities. Activities include leading in ideation, business analysis, planning, budgeting, business plan; business case to execution and industrialization activities in close coordination with relevant stakeholders.
Scope may include the following:
- New training devices and/or building expansion investments
- Decommissioning or upgrading existing training devices
- Establishment of service level agreements and contracts with partners and service providers
- Identification of new customer segments (e.g. regulators, individuals, academies, flight schools, hotels, etc.) and respective needs
- New initiatives to promote existing and evolving business activities
- Preparation and submission of business dossier to AATC management for
consideration - Identify opportunity to streamline existing process and improve efficiencies
- Maintain a repository of relevant market and business intelligence data
- Conform to relevant Airbus Governance standards (e.g. Export Control, Data Security)
Training Sales
- Support and participate on customer visit
- Support on Sales proposal & customer meeting coordination
- Support customer relationship and intelligence data system
- Support sales backend function such as providing administration (monthly report etc), quotation, invoices and procurement work
- Support for effective contract management to ensure the commercial proposal, contract issuance and subsequent Purchase Order receipt and invoice issuance are conducted in a timely manner
- Support Sales on Contract drafting and amendments
Requirements
- Previous experience in customer environment in Asia Pacific area
and display an attitude that is key to success - Possess Tertiary qualification in Sales / Marketing / Business Development related subjects
- Exhibit interest for aviation and airline industry
- Analytical, independent, team oriented
- Strong interpersonal skills with all levels of stakeholders. Confident
to build rapport with both customers and inter department staff. - Highly self-motivated and driven. Ability to deliver work under stress
and tight time frames
