Report to the Manager, Global Talent Acquisition, incumbent is one of the key personnel in Integrating the HR business function towards MNC standards and Globalisation.
To support the rapid business growth, the incumbent must be able to multitask and decide/delegates in a fast-paced environment in the same capacity. He / She will provide sound advice to senior management on all related subjects in ensuring group HR functions are met and aligned with business needs and objectives.
You'll assist the HR Team in oversee planning, developing, and implementing a new and productive Talent Acquisition strategy for the group of businesses in several diverse business arms internationally.
TA Manager responsibilities includes taking lead in hiring planning, recruitment activities and tailoring onboarding orientation and induction programs etc.
To be successful in this role, you should have creative out of the box thinking, good knowledge of international labour legislation such as taxations and execute effective efficient in completion of hiring needs.
Part B: Responsibilities and Duties
- Develops, review, propose, enhance, implement and execution new/initiatives, implementation, work processes, hiring plans and induction programs (orientations) etc. for the TA team to support business needs, attracts high quality talents
- Develop sustainable talent acquisition, hiring plans and strategies
- Design, plan and execute employer branding activities related
- Encourage and employee’s engagement, motivates employees to be brand ambassadors
- Review, design and propose new initiatives / programs such as employee referral and orientations programs etc.
- Source and find candidates qualified for open positions creatively
- Perform analysis of hiring needs and provide employee hiring forecast
- Revise, design, plan and execute selection processes (conduct interviews and screening calls, administer psychological tests etc.)
- Review, design and propose employment applications, background check reports and induction programs etc.
- Review, design, propose and enforcing procedures for improving the candidate onboarding experience
- Lead, oversee and supervise members in the HR, recruiting and onboarding team
- Use sourcing methods (headhunt) for hard-to-fill roles, attend career, college fairs, and similar events
- Determine HR and recruiting KPIs, creating and present KPI reports
- Work along with C&B team to ensure salaries and benefits comply within pay equity internally and externally
- Review and execute drafting of job descriptions, job analyses and classifications
- Serve as the point of contact for all hiring status internationally
- Taking charge of pre-onboarding administrative and preparations works including induction programs to ensure excellent onboarding experience for new joins
- Design and execute periodic / monthly reports for management, as necessary or requested, to track strategic goal accomplishment.
- Working with senior management, across function and other peers for strategy development and execution planning to ensure collaboration for shared goals are attained.
- Facilitating recruitment meetings with overseas TA to ensure hiring status are up to date (local and overseas).
- Assist in implementing Workflows and SOPs for ATS
- Any other ad-hoc activities tasked by the CHRO/ Senior/HR Director
Part C: Qualifications & Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills, Knowledge, Etc)
- Candidate should possess at least a bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Human Capital Development, Business Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years working experience at same capacity performing international HR related matters
- Prior experience from a related industry (such as Manufacturing or FMCG) will be advantageous.
Part D: Specific Requirements (Mandatory for the role) (not the same with Part C)
- Effectively bilingual (English, Mandarin) for effective correspondence with mandarin-speaking internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, possess strategic thinking, ability to make effective decision, co-ordinates effectively with stakeholders (local & overseas)
- Able to work under pressure and perform multiple tasks accurately
- Outgoing and possess “Can Do” attitude with good inter-personal skills
- Ability to identify bottlenecks in the recruiting and onboarding process
