Industry Experience

GoldenSource is looking to expand its Professional Services team with a senior technical analyst having specific industry experience within the IT arena having previously worked on projects with client facing exposure. Domain experience in asset management, risk IT, or OTC derivative related IT roles would be particularly welcome.

We would expect the successful candidate to have played a key role in full IT project lifecycles, with particular focus on the implementation of the GoldenSource suite.

General Java knowledge is required and in particular skills with GoldenSource tools like Orchestrator, GSO’s, Mapping designers are essential. The applicant must have worked on atleast one end to end GoldenSource implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will work as part of a wider team having primarily technical responsibility throughout a project implementation lifecycle. He/she will need to interface with the client and demonstrate high level of business competency and be adept at leveraging his/her experience to manage client expectations and ensure successful deployment of the GoldenSource software.

The role requires the candidate to work independently, and is collaborative in nature. A key aspect of the role is to provide regular feedback to the Project Manager on the status of assignments deliverables, and for the candidate to provide mentoring to more junior staff members to broaden and improve their GoldenSource configuration techniques

Summary

· Build a network of high-quality candidates relevant to your client portfolio through advertising, headhunting, seeking referrals and exploring our extensive talent database.

· Generate leads and vacancies, matching client needs with appropriate candidates & strategic recruitment solutions.

· Engage with customers through on-site meetings, lunches, coffees, networking events and seminars.

· Guide, feedback, and influence customers through the interview process, ensuring every opportunity for a successful placement.

· Manage salary and fee negotiations.

The Successful Applicant

You don't need a particular type of experience to be a recruiter, it's your inherent traits that guide your behaviour at work that make you successful. The traits that our most successful recruiters usually have are:

• Bachelors’ Degree with at least 2 years’ experience of having worked in related functions/industries mentioned above or within a recruitment company.
• Passion for a commercial role and what you have done in your career with proven results.
• Values that are in line with ours- Team work, results driven
• Ability to build rapport with C-level executives as business development activity is focused on targeting global/regional leaders from the sector.
• Must be proficient in Mandarin as the role will be managing and working directly with mandarin speaking clients from China

· Drive and OOMPH!!! – ability to sustain high levels of energy and output over long periods.
