Position Overview:
As a Human Resources Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions within the organization. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in HR operations, administration, and project management.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Onboarding Support:
a. Assist in preparing new joiners by facilitating IT/ email setup, provision of stationery, name cards, and laptops.
b. Ensure seamless integration of new employees into the organization by providing necessary support during the onboarding process.
2. Insurance Coordination:
a. Verify and ensure insurance coverage for new joiners, coordinating with relevant stakeholders as required.
b. Provide support to employees on all insurance related enquiries by collaborating with insurance providers.
3. Claims Management:
a. Assist in managing claims processes, including documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders.
4. HR Digitization Projects:
a. Participate in HR digitization initiatives from start to finish aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in HR operations.
5. Employee Records Maintenance and Engagement:
a. Maintain accurate and up- to- date employee personnel files in Sharepoint in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
b. Organize and execute employee engagement programs to foster a positive work culture.
c. Create EDMs for internal employee engagement initiatives.
6. HR Data Quality Assurance:
a. Ensure the overall quality and integrity of HR data in SAMPARK system through regular validations.
7. Logistics Coordination:
a. Coordinate document and parcel couriers ensuring timely and secured delivery.
8. Administrative Support:
a. Assist in various administrative tasks as assigned by the HR team, contributing to the smooth functioning of HR and Admin operations.
Requirements:
· Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
· Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
· Proactive and self- motivated with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
Duration:
This is a full- time paid internship position with a duration of 6 months.
