• Finance innovation projects – you will drive and lead finance innovation projects with the goal to standardize and streamline processes and improve efficiency and quality of regulatory reporting.
• Help safeguard the bank: support internal control of the bank via focus on a) efficiency and effectiveness of operations, b) reliability of regulatory reporting, c) compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and d) safeguarding the assets of the organization;
• Act as a pro-active business partner and advisor for internal stakeholders in all the above-mentioned areas

In addition, you have:

• Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience, preferably also with audit background or professional (CPA/ACCA) qualification. Knowledge of local regulatory reporting requirements (MAS).
• Product and accounting knowledge of financial markets products (Derivatives) and wholesale banking lending and trade finance products would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and project management skills with demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong English written and oral communication skills with proven success in influencing business decisions.
• Proficiency in MS Excel. Excel Macro working knowledge.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across a cross functional team and influence senior leaders.
• Strong team player, self-starter and motivator, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Successful candidate will be results focused, with high energy, flexible and with good work prioritization skills.

PURPOSE

This role is to support and develop the annual product plan for FWD to ensure customers are able to save, invest and be protected in an efficient manner through Investment-Linked products (ILP)

KEY ACCOUNTAIBILITIES

• Curate best in class funds and ensure there is monitoring oversight (using fund data platforms) to ensure the funds continue to be relevant after a sale is made with collaboration with Group Office Investments team
• Support the team with distribution agreements with Fund Houses and MAS filing
• Support the team with any trade related matters with fund execution platform
• Support the BAU activities of funds which includes and not limited to corporate action, funds’ documentation, and website maintenance
• Provide pre and post fund launch support to address fund related queries from internal stakeholders, distributors and customers
• Ensure strong Compliance with regards to ILP relevant regulations and regulatory reporting and notifications (i.e. MAS 307)
• Support the team in developing strong culture of fund innovation through regular workshops with distribution partners, fund houses, customers, internal stakeholder and re-insurers. Have strong passion on wanting Singaporeans to save well and be protected at the same time.
• Ensure all funds plans are developed in accordance to the product and fund management framework developed by the company
• Provide UAT support to ensure our customers and partners have a delightful experience with FWD
• Support the ILP fund workstream to ensure all relevant user requirements are provided in a timeline manner
• Support the marketing team to ensure that the key messages are well articulated in the brochure or any other marketing efforts

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Degree in Actuarial Science, Business or Marketing or relevant discipline
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
• Prior knowledge or experience with life insurance products would be an added advantage
