• Responsible for full spectrum of payroll function

We are seeking an enthusiastic and capable full-time Research Associate to work on a project about assessing the impact of digital information resilience, funded by the Ministry of Education AcRF Tier 3 grant. The contract is renewable up to 3 years.

The successful candidate will assist the funded research project entitled “Digital Information Resilience: Restoring Trust and Nudging Behaviours in Digitalisation”. The candidate will work with an interdisciplinary team of scholars based in Singapore to advance research and knowledge on digital information resilience. The project aims to identify and measure digital information resilience for digital readiness, inclusion and safety based on an original indicator framework.

The successful candidate will assist to develop new indicators for measuring digital information resilience. They will conduct interviews, facilitate focus groups, develop and implement surveys, and code the data-sets using qualitative and quantitative research methods. They will also be required to support project management, research admin and deliverables such as reports/journal articles, workshops and webinars.

Qualifications

• At least a PhD or Masters degree or equivalent in the Social Sciences/Humanities, and demonstrated research experience in communications and media studies, including digital media policy and regulation.

Overview and Objective of the Position

• The Student and Academic Services Officer is to provide extensive administration support to academic staff and maintain the applicable academic systems for school.

Job Duties:

1. Assessments and Progressions

• Acquire and maintain up-to-date knowledge of the examinations systems, including policies, procedures, rules and regulations laid down by school.
• Ensure all examination papers and stationery are adequately stocked and inventory maintained, being responsible for their strict security for storing, recording and dispatching before and after examinations.
• Ensure for online assessments and examinations, required test links and other submission link points are set-up.
• Ensure all necessary stationery and materials, and other requirements are provided for examinations.
• Organise appropriate arrangements for the support of students with special examination requirements (e.g. dyslexia, disabled) in conjunction with the Director of Academic Services.

4. University Procedures

• Ensure student academic progress is in accordance with regulations.

Job Descripton :

• Provide independent, objective assurance and consultative activities in accordance with the Audit Charter based on “The Standards for the Professional Practice Framework” as prescribed by the Institute of Internal Auditors, Regulators’ requirements and any other relevant standards.
• Perform Audit Reviews including Cyber Security Audit reviews to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls and comply with regulatory requirements in accordance with the established audit objectives, scope, timeline, and approach.
• Subject matter expertise in assessing Cyber Security and Data Information Security.
• Provide training and share best practices, tools, and testing approach related with Cyber Security with other Auditors within the Group Audit.
• Review the adequacy of IT functions, processes, infrastructures, and application systems to enhance the overall governance, risk management, and controls.
• Highlight relevant audit findings, risk implications, root causes, and appropriate recommendations to address the control and performance gaps and document audit workings.
• Write audit findings and reports to communicate the audit result and assessment to the Internal Audit Committee (IAC) and the Audit Committee of the Board (ACB).
• Attend to ad-hoc matters.

Qualifications:

• Possess a relevant tertiary education such as Computer science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, engineering or related fields. Information Technology related certifications (CISA, CIA, CISM, etc.) would be an added advantage
• More than 8 years of experience in Cybersecurity, or Technology Audit or Technology Risk.
• Knowledge in performing Security testing, Network, System/Application Codes review, and data analytic will be an added advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with various level of people and maintain a professional approach at all times.
• Possess the ability to articulate clearly in writing and verbally.
• Able to work independently, prioritise, multi tasks, good analytical skill, leading a team and deliver results under tight deadline.
• Fast learner, resourceful and proactive.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• High academic achievement and current bar admission (common or civil law accepted)
• At least 5 years of post-qualification experience (by English equivalent)
• Substantial experience, knowledge and confidence in the theory and practice of international commercial and/or investment arbitration
• A very high level of skill in the analysis of issues and evidence, legal drafting, strategic and tactical planning, effective case management and presentation, and (ideally) oral advocacy and cross-examination
• Experience in developing client and industry relationships
• Exceptional communication and time management skills
• Self-motivation, willingness and enthusiasm to challenge yourself
• A sense of humour and readiness to work collaboratively in a friendly, high-performing team
• Ideally, multi-lingual skills and experience working in more than one country and culture (this would be a substantial advantage, but is not a requirement)
