The production manager is a pivotal member of our manufacturing team orchestrating and optimizing production processes. YOUR IMPACT

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Heavy equipment or automotive manufacturing experience
2+ years of supervisory experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows Word, and Excel, Lotus Notes E-mail, and JD Edwards

The associate level Technical Support Specialist role is responsible for providing support to internal and external customers via phone, email, and face to face interactions. The primary objective of this role is to repair and/or provide guidance on the overhaul of certain JLG equipment in the field through the contact center. This position is the supporting position to JLG customers to increase their return on investment.
YOUR IMPACT

Troubleshoot the root cause of technical issues on equipment and identify the action to resolve the issues.
Interact with and maintain professional working relationships with customers and all appropriate departments necessary for customer support.
Participate in continuous training, both internally and externally, as required to maintain an increasing proficiency on products.
Review current JLG processes that involve documentation and work performance, JLG programs and systems that pertain troubleshooting and diagnosing.
Communicate all service related JLG documentation such as service field bulletins, information notices, and product updates to both JLG customers and employees.

High School Diploma or its equivalent with one (1) or more years of experience in the field or in a related area.

The JLG Dedicated Driver is responsible for picking up, securing, transporting and delivering product in a safe, professional, courteous, and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
• Observe loading and unloading of materials, transport and deliver products.
• Secure load for safe transport by use of straps, chains, binders, load locks, and other necessary securement means.
• Complete trip sheets and load documentation accurately.
• Meet DOT standards for physical exam, drug test, and commercial driver’s license, as well as company standards.
• Drive up to 11-hour shifts and up to 70 hours per week.
• Required to become certified for operation of JLG Aerial Work Platforms and Telehandlers and become proficient in the use and loading and unloading of units from truck trailers.
• Qualify and obtain the Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as TWIC®, which is required by the Maritime Transportation Security Act for workers who need access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels. TSA conducts a security threat assessment (background check) to determine a person’s eligibility and issues the credential.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Physical Requirements:
• Must pass drug screen, DOT physical, and background test.
• Must pass a Post Offer/Pre-Placement Test based on customer requirements.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry unassisted up to 75 lb. containers, tarps, and cargo as required, including over head, repeatedly, and for extended periods of time and across distances 75 feet or more.
• While performing the duties of this position, the employee must occasionally load, unload and secure cargo and related duties.
• Activities expected to be performed as a regular part of the job for a significant portion of an average day: standing, sitting, bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, seeing, handling, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Must be able to perform duties that require the driver to repeatedly bend at the waist, neck, wrist, and shoulder; twist and rotate hands, elbows, and forearms.
• Must have the ability to perform these duties outdoors and in adverse weather and climate conditions.
• May require working in hot and cold temperature extremes, with exposure to dust, dirt, fumes, moderate noise, and vibration of vehicle.
• Have the ability to drive semi-tractors and trailers, Class A vehicles, understand brake operations, and satisfactorily perform all required in cab duties required to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle.
• Must be able to perform all necessary functions in order to conduct a proper and complete DOT required safety inspection, including but not limited to getting under tractor and trailer to perform such required duties.
• Must be able to climb in and out of commercial vehicles and trailers, 4 feet above the ground, numerous times a day. Ability to grasp and grip repeatedly and operate foot pedals.
• Must be able to climb to a height of 4 to 10 feet, balancing and accelerated physical activity in awkward positions.
• Must be able to mount snow chains on tires.
• Ability to unload using such devices as a manual floor jack, electrical floor jack, hand dollies, rollers, or operate aerial work platforms or telehandler equipment as deemed necessary to unload it.

The Chief Product Safety Engineer will serve as a leader and subject matter expert with regards to product safety and reliability support on JLG Agriculture and Specialty equipment. This includes initiating and coordinating activities concerning new product development, previously manufactured/field products, product related legal proceedings, Government/Trade Association matters, and customer support activities. This is a technical leadership role seen as a Product Safety expert throughout the business and will develop solid relationships with various departments, including Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Service, Marketing, Purchasing, Quality, and Operations.

Initiate and Lead activities as the Product Safety expert for the Agriculture & Specialty Product Lines.
Responsible for initiating, coordinating, and taking ownership in these listed activities and processes.
Develop and support product safety strategies in coordination with the department and other business leaders.
Initiate and lead problem-solving, cross-functional, activities with Engineering and other company departments on all matters of product safety and reliability.
Responsible for specific product line(s) and will actively participate in and monitor new product development team meetings, design reviews, engineering procedures, stability calculations/tests, structural calculations/tests, operation/service manuals and decal/placard installations for new products.
Attend Customer events and Trade Shows to support the product team and gather relevant industry insights.
Coordinate and provide level II support for JLG customers and end users through telephone and email regarding machine application, safe use, repairs, technical specifications, etc.
Lead as liaison and periodic meeting coordinator from Product Safety to various other departments, including Engineering, Service, Technical Publications, Training, and Marketing.
Interact with JLG component suppliers regarding component specifications, performance, and reliability.
Responsible to develop and review information such as Field Service Bulletins, Service Information, etc.
Attend, monitor, and propose actions from Global Quality, Test and Customer Support meetings and other meetings that concern new and existing products.
Initiate and organize the review of new products regarding standards compliance.
Represent company in Government/Trade Association matters such as OSHA, AEM, ANSI, ASABE, NHTSA, etc.
Coordinate and assist in the preparation of company defense information for product litigations, including interaction with other company departments and outside entities assisting in the company defense.
Lead and assist on other specific programs required in the course of departmental operation, as assigned by the department head.
Occasional travel up to 20% of the time.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Agriculture Technology, or related field.
Ten (10) or more years of relevant experience.
Ability to multitask with effective organization and communication skills.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Agricultural industry background and experience operating agricultural equipment.
Demonstrated expertise in aerial lift and material handling equipment (MEWPs, Telehandlers) or recovery vehicles (Carriers, Wreckers, Rotators).
Education or experience focused on electro-mechanical, mechatronics, electrical or mechanical engineering.
Seven (7) or more years of experience in Product Safety, Reliability, Quality, Compliance, or Improvement Engineering.
Possess a strong mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical knowledge of components and systems found in construction, agricultural, or heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
Excellent interpersonal skills, especially communications skills (oral and written); demonstrated ability to influence the behavior of peers and others outside the direct reporting line.

The Technical Support Specialist will support internal and external customers via phone, email, face to face, and other media communication. The JLG Dedicated Driver is responsible for picking up, securing, transporting and delivering product in a safe, professional, courteous, and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities:
• Observe loading and unloading of materials, transport and deliver products.
• Secure load for safe transport by use of straps, chains, binders, load locks, and other necessary securement means.
• Complete trip sheets and load documentation accurately.
• Meet DOT standards for physical exam, drug test, and commercial driver’s license, as well as company standards.
• Drive up to 11-hour shifts and up to 70 hours per week.
• Required to become certified for operation of JLG Aerial Work Platforms and Telehandlers and become proficient in the use and loading and unloading of units from truck trailers.
• Qualify and obtain the Transportation Worker Identification Credential, also known as TWIC®, which is required by the Maritime Transportation Security Act for workers who need access to secure areas of the nation’s maritime facilities and vessels. TSA conducts a security threat assessment (background check) to determine a person’s eligibility and issues the credential.
• Demonstrate the ability to work in extreme temperatures.
Physical Requirements:
• Must pass drug screen, DOT physical, and background test.
• Must pass a Post Offer/Pre-Placement Test based on customer requirements.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry unassisted up to 75 lb. containers, tarps, and cargo as required, including over head, repeatedly, and for extended periods of time and across distances 75 feet or more.

• Must be able to climb to a height of 4 to 10 feet, balancing and accelerated physical activity in awkward positions.
