Assignments:

• Coach and Support the Business teams in daily operations and in evaluating new potential suppliers by addressing risks/risk mitigation connected to Product safety and Chemical Compliance.

• Participate in the development of new IKEA specification requirements, by securing input is given on potential impacts from a supply chain perspective.
• Contribute to developing and lead the implementation of global product compliance working methods and tools, and co-ordinate local implementation.

About the Job

You will work in a small, 3-member micro-team with a Business Developer who negotiates prices and take care of the overall commercial relation with the supplier and a Supply Planner who handles logistics. As part of the annual action plan, you will be responsible for the constant improvement of the quality of IKEA products as well as the production process and workflow through tools such as 5S, Lean, and machine capacity utilization. All with the aim of reducing production inefficiencies, in terms of sustainability and business ethics. You will also perform:

• Developing relationships with suppliers – the micro-team regularly travels to the field in order to understand and solve issues firsthand, we see production from the ground up, help with the implementation of action plans, and cooperate in audit processes,
• Data analytics – this will be a primary function and most of your office-hours.
• Operation – helping suppliers with entering up-to-date product documents into the system to secure compliance, resolving claims from A to Z, regular communication with suppliers (emails, calls), meetings with management and the team

Scope of assignment

Under our Accountant’s observation and support:

• Follow company procedures to bookkeeping and process payments.
• Support Accounting team in preparing accounting books, arranging, filing, and archiving accounting documents.
• Study and involve in preparing some Accounting and tax reports following guidance from the supervisor.
• Support Accounting team in working with auditors and tax consultants, preparing data and documents for statutory audit, tax review and/or tax inspection (if any).

As Operations Support trainee you will strongly contribute for achievement of below tasks:

As System Support trainee you will strongly contribute for achievement of below tasks:

• Work closely with the local team to improve logistics operations through our warehouse management systems.

• Provide reports related to the performance of the systems.
• Addresses issues to systems vendors.
• Take part in the regional Warehouse Management Systems meetings, propose change requests & performs the ROI analysis of new change requests on behalf of local unit.

About the Role:

As a Market Representative, you will

• Be responsible for HFS on an overall level for their components requirements
• Be responsible for maintained level HFS – orders, deviations, outgoing goods (UTG), scrap, price lists and securing all system updates

About the assignment

For our Distribution Center in Port Klang Malaysia, we are currently looking for a System Specialist who will be responsible for the set up and optimization of our warehouse and order management systems, securing efficient workflow in the warehouse and integration with automated systems.

Our System Specialist will:

• Work closely with the local team to improve logistics operations through our warehouse management systems.
• Ensure roll-out and necessary training for implementation of new releases with the aim to maximally use its functionalities. Create and maintain training documentation and resources.
• Monitor daily and weekly operations and identify potential risks or improvement needs.
• Provide reports related to the performance of the systems.
• Addresses issues to systems vendors.
• Take part in the regional Warehouse Management Systems meetings, propose change requests & performs the ROI analysis of new change requests on behalf of local unit.

As a Quality Specialist, you will be a part of the Quality & Sustainability Team. You will lead projects and support business teams in extra ordinary situations to secure products are delivered with right performance. Your role will be to train and verify compliance to ways of working according to purchasing manual and contribute in developing and improving working methods in the engineering/quality field. You will work not only in India, but also travel to other suppliers located in South Asia.

• Lead Gate Check before first delivery and secure four eyes’ principles.
