The candidate:

• Overseeing and managing the group company’s financial system, accounting system, budget management including budget preparation, implementation and analysis;

• Responsible for the financial management of the affiliated company, assist the group company to do a good job in capital allocation management;

• Responsible for reviewing, guiding and supervising the financial work of other positions and staff in the Finance Department.

• Cooperate with different departments to ensure that business operations to meet the stakeholders' expectations;

• Financial management and implementation regional specifically within the Southeast Asian market.

• Responsible for the overall tax administration.

Professional qualifications:

• Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in a financial role;

• Strong accounting ability, ability to analyze and solve problems, promote implementation and collaborative management, and strong communication and coordination ability;

• ACCA/CPA/Accounting qualification related certificates are preferred;

• Cross-Functional Work Concept

• Strong command of written and spoken English and Chinese to liaise with operations and communicate effectively with stakeholders in the China region.

We are a well-established family office based in Singapore and is currently expanding our investment team to bring onboard an Equities Analyst (Buy-side).

Responsibilities:

• Covering Hong Kong and US Equities Market, providing timely, rigorous fundamental research analysis and alpha-generating stock recommendations to Portfolio Managers/CEO
• Provide frequent and timely research insights to Portfolio Managers/CEO and follow up on their queries with high priority whenever there are new corporate, macroeconomic, geopolitical developments that impact HK and US stocks
• Produce detailed research reports on every stock or fixed income under coverage and upload his/her stock recommendations on Bloomberg for internal use on a regular basis
• Provide weekly research summary of the sectors covered and high conviction stock picks
• Analyse company financial reports to determine the market performance of existing securities and to create financial forecasts.
• Monitor industry and market trends for changes and investment opportunities, provide direction and expert advice on stocks to buy, sell, or hold.

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of Equities Research work experience covering HK and US listed equities is required
• Prior experience in major buy-side asset management firms or sell-side equities institutions would be advantageous
• Strong fundamental research, financial modelling, forecasting and valuation skills
• Proficiency in using Bloomberg, Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in Mandarin and one other language is required to articulate recommendations to portfolio managers/CEO

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform all aspect of the supply chain functions
• Coordinate cross-border activities with various suppliers based in China
• Maintain and approve suppliers in Approved Vendors List, including vendor assessment
• Sourcing and procurement of goods and services from approved vendors
• Arrange transportation and freight for procured materials
