JOB PURPOSE:

The Security officer is responsible for the protection of people, property and information as it relates to the facility or the facility grounds.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Control access to company facilities for the safety of all employees.
• Inspect employees and vendors upon entry to ensure that unauthorized items are not brought in and those items are not removed without proper clearance.

JOB CONTENT:

• Security Officers must be in uniform and report to their Security and Maintenance Supervisor. They must present themselves in a tidy and professional manner. Uniforms must be clean and well-kept at all times.
• Reports directly to the Security and Maintenance Supervisor for the shift assigned. Performs duties as a roving or stationary security officer as assigned by the Supervisor. The security officer is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in accomplishing their duties, tasks and objectives. • Maintains vigilance while on duty for the protection of the facility, employees and all property owned or leased by Future Electronics Corporation. Controls access to the building through the turnstile operation and ensures that all persons entering and exiting the building have either done so by use of an employee access card or have been manually signed in by the security officer. The manual signing-in of employees includes the tasks of issuing a temporary badge and ensuring that the register of employees without badges is duly completed.
• The security officer must monitor and be able to promptly react to all alarm systems including Fire Panels, ADT Alarm and CCTV system.
• Security Officers must promote adherence to the Future Electronics, Human Resources policy on Building Access and ensure that all employees are wearing their Employee Identification Card at all times and that the card is visible. Any employee not wearing their card must be reported in the Daily Journal.
• Maintains the Daily Journal and makes the appropriate entries. Prepares incident reports and other related administrative forms with the knowledge and direction of the Shift Leader.
• Checks fire emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire hose cabinets and sprinkler valves. Knows fire alarm procedures; zone and alarm locations; and reset procedures. Look for safety hazards to include electrical or water conditions. Alerts facilities maintenance of any hazards or discrepancies that may require immediate corrective action. Ensure that these discrepancies are reported to the shift leader and are noted and entered into the Daily Journal.
• Reviews and learns all security operating procedures (SOP Manual). Reviews security memos, pass-on messages, or other directives. Become knowledgeable of the duties and responsibilities of each duty shift and post assignments.
• Performs escorts to contractors, vendors, and other visitors as necessary. Ensures that outside contractors performing duties within the facility adhere to internal security procedures and that these procedures are maintained and followed at all times. Ensures proper wear and display of contractor ID badges.

As the Head of Asia Pacific Distribution Centre (APDC), this position is a key member of the Asia Operations leadership team who plays a critical role in important strategic and management decisions relating to APDC operations. This position has full responsibility and accountability of overall performance for APDC with regards to quality, productivity, service level as well as budgetary control. With clear directions, this position will establish performance goals and develop corresponding objectives and action plan to ensure achievement.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Technical Solutions Managers, (TSMs), provide the Applications and Design Solutions to Future’s customer base, utilizing their own design experience and their product knowledge gained during training sessions held by Manufacturers for which Future are franchised.

This is achieved through adopting a ‘Systems Solution’ approach when promoting products and solutions to Future’s customers. This should always be carried out with the goal of maximizing the offerings from Future’s line-card.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

· The TSM teams are organized where possible into focus groups. The main four focus business groups are:

1) Micro-controller MCU

2) Analog & Linear

3) Power Discretes

4) Passive & ElectroMechanical products.

· These groupings allow the TSMs to specialize on a product area, whilst still working as part of an overall team.

· By specializing, the TSMs are able to combine their design experience with the knowledge gained through training, enabling them to add value to our customer’s design process.

JOB CONTENT (PRIMARY & SECONDARY FUNCTIONS):

It is the responsibility of the TSMs to carry out the following:

Primary Functions

· Represent Future’s interest at all technical levels and offer a level of support required by Future’s customers to ensure that Future’s customers clearly identify Future with the projects undertaken, thus increasing the probability of Future winning the identified opportunity.

· TSMs are required to work together with Future’s Sales, Product Marketing Department and Suppliers, to establish which products are best suited to Future’s customer base and also which target markets to address. The Marketing Price Support Representative (MPSR) is responsible for coordinating and supporting all activities involved in obtaining and maintaining preferred supplier pricing for specific customer opportunities.

• To convert local requests to debits upon notification by Product Marketing and update internal systems (Associate Meet Comp) with the appropriate evident of supplier debits agreement.
• To proactively follow up with suppliers to secure pricing responses and communicate them to Product Marketing.
• To maintain validity of all established ship & debits.

Local Diploma holders of any discipline preferably from an Electronics faculty.

JOB PURPOSE:

The Business Operations Administrator is primarily responsible for the expeditious execution of all goods return requests submitted in a professional manner and in full compliance with stated Company policies and procedures.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1) Ensure the effective daily operation of RMA by systematically vetting all RMA request, coordinating approval and facilitating the issue of credit notes to Customer(s) once Return(s) are received in good order by APDC

2) Provide support to sales team and APDC in coordinating ACR and Stop Shipment/Refusal processes

3) Provide effective support to corporate departments ~ Product Marketing and Asset Management in coordinating the return of inventory to suppliers and Future entities due to quality issues, stock rotation etc.

JOB CONTENT (PRIMARY & SECONDARY FUNCTIONS):

Primary

1) Return Merchandize Authorization (RMA)

Manage the effective daily parts return process by:

i) Review all RMA requests submitted to ensure they are valid and supported by proper documentation before recommending approval or rejection consistent with the Company’s policy and procedure

ii) Coordinate with all relevant Corporate department – PM, Asset, Logistics, Credit and Sales to ensure all Non-Quality RMA request(s) are valid & supported by relevant Offset and Replacement CBO (where applicable) as stipulated in the Company’s RMA policy and procedure

iii) Coordinate closely with the Quality Process Department (QPD) to ensure all Quality related RMA request(s) due to the specific quality issue are valid and supported by proper Customer(s) / Supplier(s) Corrective Action Report (CAR)

iv) Follow up on all OPEN RMA request for response within five(5) working days. Acknowledge approval or rejection to requestor within this same window.

v) Closure of RMA/RTV Discrepancy for customer credit purpose, while the RMA to be put on hold for RTV process.

vi) Reply to all email queries in the RMA department generic mailbox, and ensure proper filing management of all completed RMA.

Secondary

ACR & Stop Shipment

i) Follow up with Sales Team and update APDC on ACR and Stop Shipment’s disposition.

ii) Ensuring replacement order loaded before arranging Refusal or RMA. Also ensure closure of RMA refusal for credit purpose only.

iii) Update ACR report daily and ensuring ACR are not pending more than two(2) working days.

Return to Vendor (RTV)

i) Provide effective support to internal departments ~ Product Marketing and Asset Management to coordinate the return of inventory to the vendors due to stock purging, stock rotation or quality issues by:-

ii) Retrieve CF# from RTV System and forward to Asset Team for qty confirmation before releasing for returns. Gather relevant details complete the necessary paperwork and coordinate with the distribution center to effect shipment back to the vendor.

iii) Prepare Debit Note and submit completed RTV documents to the Finance department for issuance of debit notes to the vendor.

iv) Retrieved DESC report from system. Follow up on RMA RTV issues and unresolved ‘Bad’ returns with AM and branches. Weekly updating of DESC log to AM and APDC to highlight such discrepancy.

Ad-Hoc Request

i) Back-up for Senior or Supervisor Business Operations whenever they are indispose or out of office.

EXPERIENCES

At least 2 years of experience in post sales warranty service and/or RMA capacity
