The Data Analyst reports to the Manila-based Senior Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Manager and is responsible for ensuring the quality and accuracy of Opportunity 2.0 data and processes, and will design and present it in ways to help the O2 project staff and partners make better decisions.  The Data Analyst will work with the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) team to use data in reporting results, generating insights, and offering recommendations to different project units. Essential Functions

The Data Analyst’s specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze and interpret data trends and patterns from various datasets

• Lead the updating of project dashboards based on project requirements in close coordination with the Database Manager

• Provide technical support to the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) Team in the analysis of outcome indicator data and data from special studies 
• Organize, validate, clean and prepare the data in specified format that is ready for data analysis
• Perform various quantitative and qualitive data analyses
• Assist M&E Officers and Database Manager in developing and updating M&E tools ensuring that the types of data to be collected are aligned with the data analysis plan
• Assist the Database Manager in determining and updating the required data structures

Other Duties

• Assist with periodic reports as appropriate and submit inputs timely.

The successful incumbent will be an extension of the first line of defense within US, with a focus on providing quality KYC & CDD work on both clients and investors. The tasks will be completed in accordance with internal AML/CFT policies and procedures, as well as international and domestic AML/CFT regulations and guidelines, across a wide spectrum of service offerings, which include Funds & Institutional, Debt, Capital Markets & Corporate, and Private Wealth.  

• Perform AML/KYC onboarding & periodic reviews on clients and investors in accordance with scheduled cycles ensure compliance with OFAC, FinCEN and FINRA AML/CFT regulations.
• To conduct name screening, review of due diligence documents, and risk assessments within established timelines.
• To review source of wealth & funds background of clients and investors in line with regulatory requirements.
• To ensure KYC documents are up to date and properly recorded.
• To provide independent recommendations to mitigate the identified risks across the existing client & investor book where necessary, and/or be responsible for escalating the findings to the necessary stakeholders.
• To assist the wider US Teams with managing client data and trackers to see through completion of full cycles.
• To perform management reporting on key statistics and status updates in an efficient manner.
• Be the point of contact for clients to collect due diligence documents in relation to the fund’s investors periodic review and provide timely response to client.
• To assist and support the team in administrative tasks where required.
• Support the department as required within the confines of role.
