• Develop, execute and continually evolve strategies for Insecticide products and for overall portfolio (product & portfolio design, positioning, pricing, promotions for sales, profitability and market share for the 5-year plan) 
• Develop and execute compelling brand and crop plans based on deep understanding of drivers and assumptions of growers, crops, markets, channel
• Develop winning portfolio strategies based on internal (pipeline, country strategy) and external (social, technological, economic, environmental, political) dynamics
• Design and launch new product introductions (NPI) to quickly establish new brands and to accelerate peak sales
• Leverage data and digital platforms to build brand loyalty through clear segmentation and targeting campaigns; different Syngenta from the rest of the industry
• Set clear direction from brand categorization perspective for the insecticide’s portfolio at country level, develop brand and portfolio strategies for assigned active ingredients from portfolio development perspective
• Lead development of 5-year brand and crop plans defining portfolio evolution, product launches, product positioning & pricing approach, setting clear direction to countries.
• Lead assigned PH Portfolio leadership forums (PLTs) ensuring buy-in and full support from cross functional teams to drive implementation of portfolio plans, ensure R&D budgets are in place.
• Work closely with countries for new brand launches, ensure NPI processes are being followed, participate in the important events of NPI process – co-create the launch strategy and deliver NPI successfully.
• Develop, manage, and implement Product Life-cycle Management strategy and actions in collaboration with 3rd party team – brand ladder, license in and out direction.

Key Accountabilities:

• Follow up tickets/requests through the development process (when the ticket/request must be escalated).

• Assists in the resolution of standards, classification and certification cases and other requests and or inquiries by utilization of technical expertise on specific goods or commodity.
• Attends to all other operational concerns regarding Report issuance which needs technical and experienced opinion.
• Provides timely and effective responses to the network in relation to inquiries concerning essential product requirements, standards, and classification and also service request inquiries.
• Sends inquiries to the affiliates or Contract Management Offices (CMO) for additional information.
• Elevates cases of non-response status or high risk disputes to Supervisor or Management.
• Prepares technical Position Paper in defending Standard selection and/or Classification cases based on his/her findings.
• Actively attends and participates in team and company meetings/assemblies
• Interacts with other members of the Product Experts Team he/she belongs in the attainment of the teams objective
