Oversees all services and systems offered by the Human Resources Directorate to client agencies. As of this vacancy announcement, the HR Directorate provides 22 distinct and inter-related systems to over 50 federal agencies, and services to over 70 federal agencies.

Provides wholistic program management across the Directorate, to include long- and short-range planning, establishment and revision of goals and objectives, establishing performance standards and criteria, financial and budget management, resource allocation and distribution, organizational design and work operations, program administration, the full range of personnel management, and operating policy for the Directorate.

The primary purpose of this position is to oversee/monitor the design and construction of Services facility construction projects to ensure projects are designed to approved concept, scope and cost. Serves as technical authority and project manager to provide oversight on architectural and engineering issues for the AF funded Services design and construction projects Develops/recommends, reviews and implements Air Force NAF facilities procedures/policies and establishes/recommends standards that affect the design and construction of Services facilities. Reviews, coordinates/approves, or develops SOWs for AE Services and Design/Build initiatives to ensure completeness and adequacy or requirements and prepares SOWs for special projects. Ensures the development and inclusion of functionally efficient, cost-effective Services facility designs in project facility submittals from MAJCOMs, bases, design agents, and commercial architects/engineers. Performs continual review, research, and interpretation of reference materials, as well as evaluation of new materials to achieve cost effective, efficient and operationally correct Services facilities. • You will serve as a Naval Architect (Ship Design Manager) supporting USSOCOM and PMS 390 Multi Mission Dry Submersible (MMDS) acquisition program.
• You will prepare and review specifications for design, fabrication, testing, material certification, and procedural technical requirements for acceptability and certification of the vehicles/equipment for technical adequacy, safety, and performance.
• You will develop or define performance requirements and construction standards.

• You will manage programs and projects in the product line in a timely manner and accomplish objectives within resource constraints.

The major duties of the Historical Landscape Architect position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Landscape Architect: Active Technical Role in NCRO's Cultural Landscape program, including interfacing with historic architecture, GIS, and architectural conservation programs.
• Responsible for the identification and condition assessments of Historic Properties (cultural landscapes and historic structures) as identified through the NPS Section 110 mechanism: Cultural Resources Inventory System (CRIS)
• Identifies research needs and suitable research designs and conducts or oversees various levels of research and field investigations. Prepares associated historic contexts as related to the NRHP evaluation method and NPS cultural landscapes method.
• Actively engages with NCRO CR GIS program, integrating new research and project management as related to management of related CRIS systems for historic properties (Cultural landscapes and historic structures).
• Participates in landscape architecture projects and compliance consistent with NPS policies, guidelines, and standards along with compliance laws and regulations.
