The Opportunity:
An excellent opportunity for a Senior Payroll Specialist – SAP Technical, to join our Financial Services business and set up the payroll system, conducting periodic reviews, resolving malfunctions, and fixing problems. This role will be based in our AIA Sydney office.

The successful candidate would be responsible for:
• Advising users to formulate and document business requirements.
• Working with payroll vendor to edit personnel calculation schemas, personnel calculation rules, and features as per business requirement.
• Evaluating wage type characteristics and outputs ensuring compliance with legislation (PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workers’ comp, FBT etc.)
• Processing UAT testing, upgrades, and system upgrades
• Identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending efficient business practices, and system functionality and behaviour.
• Create user and training documentation for payroll and conduct formal training sessions.
• Support end to end processing of payrolls for both AIA & CMLA entities including third party payments and statutory reporting when required.

To be successful in this position, you will have:
• Proven experience in SAP HR/HCM
• Successful track record of Australia/New Zealand payrolls with hands-on experience in full lifecycle SAP HR and/or Payroll implementation projects.
• Experience working in Global organisations with excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to build relationships with senior collaborators and staff.
• Experience in leading payroll projects including data migration, system implementations and improvements, and process changes.

The role

As the Senior Network & Security Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of the networking technology fabric that underpins the company's IT infrastructure (including on-premises, and cloud environments), its unified communications and Cyber Security.
You will be expected to work with relevant telecoms providers and other suppliers and service providers, acting as lead on the design, maintenance, security, and proactive monitoring of the organisations' network topology. Your profile

• Experience of designing and implementing infrastructure technologies, solutions, and services such as: networking, physical infrastructure, software, COTS and open-source packages and solutions, cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.) Core network skills to include, routing (IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, VRF's etc), switching (VLANS, Stacking, etc.) or comparable experience.
• Knowledge and experience with Checkpoint, Palo Alto Cisco ISE Network Access Control (NAC, 802.1x, MAB), Cisco DNA Centre
• Knowledge of service integration, particularly experience of integration with Azure & AWS related networking and typical DMZ architectures and Express Route, with experience of capacity and availability monitoring and analysis using tools such as Solar Winds.

Making a difference to key datasets allowing a smooth movement of data in Quercus and the Degree apprenticeship system. You will also constantly be analysing and improving processes with a great attention to detail. You will be in a remote/home based environment which will see you communicating with the team on digital channels constantly.

From the Job Description:

• To play a key role in the effective development, integration, operation and enhancement of our Registry systems.
• To support the Registry Systems Lead with identifying improvements of the registry systems and assist with trouble shooting/problem solving.
• To proactively communicate system changes/process improvements to stakeholders and provide training to staff and stakeholders where applicable.
• To support critical processes and new initiatives within the Registry function whilst delivering in-year core support and maintenance of student systems.
• To work in close conjunction with the Registry Systems Lead & other key stakeholders, to manage the maintenance and development of the Registry systems and support the business implementation of new functionality within the Registry function such as TDS, Results Entry, Progression, Awards & Transcripts, Submit Requests and the migration of Degree Apprenticeship records.
• To work closely with Registry and Student Services to maintain the student records system, and support with overseeing the functionality between the student records system with other systems such as Attendance (TDS) and Timetabling (Semestry).

About You:
This role would be a great fit if you've got really great EXCEL skills, strong multi-tasking and delivery to agreed timescale abilities, plus a very high attention to detail

• Knowledge of core academic and administrative functions in higher education
• Good overall exposure to student records systems & processes
• Experience of systems management and student records, preferably including experience of Quercus, Degree Apprenticeship systems, or TDS
• Understanding of training audiences.
• Education sector Experience
• Has experience of prioritising workloads with time critical deliverables
• An innovative problem solver
• Proven ability to identify and solve problems
