Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The Logistics Center Patient Flow Specialist is an integral component of the Logistics Center, as they help to manage all aspects of patient flow into, throughout and out of the hospital. The Distribution Specialist controls and ensures correct and compliant daily operation of the Singapore GDC Global Distribution Center to ensure correct on time delivery of replenishment orders to the countries it serves. To support correct functioning of the GDC, job holder also holds the responsibility for GDC Master Data quality, stock accuracy and availability. Through application of operational excellence and process development job holder guides the GDC through maturity stages from initially a simple cross docking operation to a fully functional pick pack ship operation with value-add services. The Singapore GDC Distribution Specialist is the key person for Supply Chain related Quality & Regulatory topics in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

Control the GDC Operation

• Key task of the Distribution Specialist is to ensure efficient and effective operation of the Singapore GDC. This includes control and guidance of the 3PL solution according to agreed service levels and standards. Over time the GDC will develop from a simple cross-docking operation to a fully operational pick, pack ship operation. Job holder will be required to guide this evolution process for the GDC.

Stock Accuracy and Control

• As the process owner in the APAC GDC the he/she is responsible for stock control and accuracy in all processes, ensure compliance with the requirement of SOX and regularly monitor 3PL performance in this area.

Overall Master Data Control for the Singapore GDC

• Master Data plays a key role in the overall operation and functionality of the Singapore GDC. As data exists in multiple systems and need to be transacted through various ERP solutions strict control is essential to the operation. Work closely with the Global Master Data team on the data governance, with the countries served by the GDC and with the GDC suppliers on the content of the data. Product master data in AX is required to be set up in synchronisation with the market processes.

GDC Service Level Performance

• This role monitors and reports the GDC service performance. Where needed corrective actions will be initiated and followed up.\

Operational Excellence and Process Development for the Singapore Supply Chain

• This role will drive the operational excellence and process development for the overall GDC. Lean methodologies, GMP and GDP principles will apply to deliver to the improvement goals. The job holder makes sure the GDC operates in full compliance with local regulation, global regulations and Smith & Nephew policies and practices.

Value-add services (e.g. Labelling, Inserts)

The Supply Chain Master Data Specialist reports into Supply Chain Manager based in Singapore. The job scope for this role is overall Master Data in the SAP system for the Singapore and Export MSU entity.

The Supply Chain Master Data Specialist executes and supports activities with respect to Master Data Customer Master Data / Product & Product Hierarchy / Pricing / Material Management in a way that is compliant and consistent with policies and standards. The team works in close collaboration with the Regional/Global MDM team.

Responsibilities:

Master Data Specialist:

o Contributes to developing and implementing data management strategy and processes for all local business data required. Aim is to efficiently execute local company operations.

o Manage GDS Info flow in relation with Sales and Customers.

o Supports in implementing of Master Data required systems on a local level (i.e. SAP, BMI, service systems etc.)

o Ensures data accuracy by:

• Identifying data requirements for current and future state local business processes.
• Detecting data gaps, identifying functional data owners and driving them to develop data cleansing plans based on data gaps

The Marine Transportation Specialist (Ship Inspector):

• Conducts onboard ship inspections on foreign flagged vessels entering the St. Lawrence Seaway to verify compliance with Seaway system regulations and ensures ships comply with United States Coast Guard transit regulations.
• Conducts ship incident/accident investigations such as groundings, spills, strikes, and equipment failures that occur within Seaway system. Evaluates damage to ships or Agency facilities and makes recommendations for corrective action.
• Serves as the Agency liaison with external maritime agencies such as the Canadian Seaway, US Coast Guard, Canadian Coast Guard, Shipping Owners, and Agents.  Reviews regulatory policy changes to ensure Seaway system requirements are in compliance.
• Requires on-call availability on a rotating basis with other inspectors during the 10-month Seaway navigation season.  Occasionally serves as a relief Lock Operations supervisor when needed.

The ideal candidate is a technical expert in marine inspections and casualty investigations for ocean-going vessels that can work independently within a team environment.  This person has experience evaluating vessel compliance with marine regulations and standards to ensure the proper documentation and certification of safety management systems, operating systems, machinery, and structures.

This Transportation Security Specialist-Explosives position is located at Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR), Transportation Security Administration, Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Serving as a key component of a multi-layered security approach.
• Applying experience and technical knowledge of explosives to assess threats.
• Educating the screening workforce in the detection of threats.
• Supporting explosive vulnerability assessments in all modes of transportation.
• Responding to and assessing all unresolved checkpoint and checked baggage alarms involving possible explosives, IED components or actual IEDs, rendering a final decision on alarm resolution.
• Assessing the interrelationships between initiators, power supplies, and chemicals. Determining if devices are improvised explosives, commercial explosives, or mixed explosives (fuel mixtures).
• Deploying in support of risk mitigation efforts to deter, detect, and prevent the introduction of IEDs, IED components or other deadly or dangerous items into the airport environment.
• Participating with evaluation teams in conducting covert drills to determine effectiveness of the training programs, recommending individuals remediation, and identifying potential security vulnerabilities.
• Mentoring and training the front line screening workforce to increase their operational knowledge of explosives and IED components.

What will I do in this position if hired? 

In this position, you will serve as the Supply Management Specialist where you will manage and implement supply of materials and supply requirements. 

Typical assignments include: 

• Analyzing inventory/restock levels.
• Communicating stocking levels and inventories to subordinates.
• Ensuring subordinates receive coaching, materials and supplies in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensuring the use appropriate sources of supply while managing the receipt of materials ensuring security and accountability.

This Supervisory Transportation Security Specialist position is located in the Security Operations (SO), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Duties include but are not limited to:

• Serves as Branch Manager within the Operations Division providing direct support to the Division Director for the implementation of REAL ID program and other necessary duties for the administration of Surface Operations programmatic requirements to include workplan and Surface compliance analysis network.

• Oversees compliance and enforcement activities for the surface community, from a national perspective, as well as supervising all national outreach initiatives directed by Surface Operations HQ. Responsible for supporting Surface Operations administrative functions, internal reporting, and communications.

• As a recognized technical authority, develops a wide range of policy statements, studies and position papers that include new and innovative approaches in resolving highly intricate transportation security issues. Plans, coordinates, implements, and evaluates complex surface transportation security programs, policies, and operations.

• Collaborates in the development and re-evaluation of the Surface Operations program methodologies, and adoption of performance metrics using risk-based approach(es) to support inspection, outreach, assessment and exercise requirements and priorities.

• Provides national oversight and program support to Surface Operations Senior Leadership, Regional Security Directors (RSDs), and Transportation Security Inspectors - Surface (TSI-S).

• Directs comprehensive analysis of transportation security issues, programs and initiatives that cross organizational boundaries and impact the accomplishment of key DHS and TSA strategic objectives.

• Develops detailed reports on performance metrics including but not limited to security program effectiveness, industry compliance rates, and national field office surface inspector utilization.
