Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Education & Career Guidance Specialist/Coach to join our team and play a vital role in empowering individuals to navigate their educational and career pathways.

Responsibilities

A. Program Implementation

• Lead the implementation of various education and career guidance programs for diverse target audiences.
• Manage development, delivery, and evaluation of workshops, presentations,and individual coaching sessions.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure program effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals.
• Analyze program data and conduct regular assessments to identify and implement improvements.

B. Coaching & Guidance

• Provide individual and group coaching to help individuals explore their skills,interests, and values.
• Assist clients in defining career goals, developing action plans, and navigating educational pathways.
• Utilize effective coaching techniques to build trust, empower clients, and facilitate self-discovery.
• Stay informed about current trends in education, career development, and labor market needs.

C. Program Development & Resources

• Contribute to the development and improvement of existing education and career guidance programs.
• Conduct research and identify resources relevant to program content and client needs.
• Maintain awareness of technological advancements and integrate them into programs whenever possible.

D. Collaboration & Communication

• Work collaboratively with other team members, educators, and community partners.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless program delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in education and career guidance, coaching,or a related field
• Demonstrably strong coaching skills and experience facilitating individual and group sessions
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Passion for education and career development, and a commitment to empowering individuals
• Ability to work 4 weekdays and Saturday, as well as occasional evenings due to time differences between markets
• Ability to travel as required
• Experience working in a startup environment is a plus

Our Client is a luxury fashion brand that originated in French. We seek a Training Specialist to support and develop retail teams in delivering the client experience to the benefit of store business.

Job Responsibilities

· Your role is to partner up with Store Manager(s) to deliver the training path, enable retail teams to enhance client experience and develop skills to engage Client.

· As part of the Country training team, you translate and execute the corporate training strategy within your defined store(s), partnering with Store Manager(s), Through local execution of corporate strategy, you will train and coach client advisors to become ambassadors of Brand culture, values and products.

· You define the roll-out plan to best contribute to business growth, answering to the needs of the store(s) through selling skills, product training and active coaching.

· You will spend about 80% of your time in stores, between coaching and in-store training in small groups.

The Job

1. Facilitate learning experiences to lead groups of New entrants through a series of workshops and retrospectives

2. Collaborate with initiative teams to drive adoption of our products and services through the creation/curation of required learning programs, as well as to create a learning culture in the department.

3. Design, storyboard and develop online learning courses using Articulate Rise or Storyline, working with Subject Matter Expert (SME) in creating learning content.

4. Create quizzes and activities for learning content

5. Recommend and creation of next steps on learning curriculum & roadmaps based on data from programmes

6. Work with SMEs and help them create and onboard their new courses to the most effective learning channel and format, as well as suggest improvements to existing ones to fit the purpose.

7. Gather feedback of the learning courses through various channels, e.g. questionnaires/surveys, discussions with managers.

8. Perform administration for learning registration, attendance, gather feedback and produce learning metrics reports, using standard MS Office tools such as MS Excel, power points etc.

9. Maintain an up-to-date course list and content in the MS SharePoint

10. Perform other tasks and projects as and when necessary required to support business objectives and learning operations etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Specialist Teacher

 

A specialist teacher complements the programme as an extension of the teaching team. A specialist teacher will work collaboratively with the class group of teachers and be accountable to the Core Teacher for all matters regarding the class. The Specialist Teacher’s position is a unique role within the pre-school. It explores deep connections between the children’s current inquiries and thinking and facilitates an opportunity for children to express their understanding through the symbolic languages.

 

The scope of the role includes, but is not limited to:

● Work collaboratively with children, teachers and the community of EtonHouse to develop a programme that supports and deepens the learning that is taking place through class initiated inquiries.

● Work closely with the classroom teachers to connect with the class inquiries and be flexible and open to change and new ideas as they emerge in your work alongside the children.

● Create a variety of opportunities for children to express themselves and make discoveries using the symbolic languages.

● Meet with the class teachers, curriculum coordinator and principal if needed to discuss ideas and connections to inquiry learning.

● Maintain a high standard of teaching practice and professionalism.

● Undertake continued professional development and share the scope of Specialist Areas with the pre- school community.

● Document children’s learning making connections to The ITL Framework: eg: newsletters, community documentation panels.

● Support the coordination of related annual community events, such as Celebration of Learning, Magical Movement Day and 100 languages exhibition.

● Attend staff meetings and professional development workshops.

● Manage and develop pre-school resources and materials for the pre-school programme.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 2 – 5 years relevant professional teaching experience in early childhood;
• The candidate should hold a minimum of a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood or Education or equivalent, which is obtained from a recognised University or College involving not less than 3 years full time study;
• Teachers Certificates, Diplomas or other Teacher Accreditation courses and certification are required if the applicant’s degree is not in Education;
• IB PYP course and training are highly valued;
• Knowledge of or willingness to acquire knowledge of inquiry based learning is required;
• Applicants must provide original copies of their Certificates and academic transcripts for authentication;
• International experience, especially in Asia is highly regarded;
