This role is responsible to manage and oversees engineering services and project management services required for the overall terminal facilities in accordance with the established standards and procedures for the whole of KTSB. • To act as Turnaround Manager  and to pre-engineer long and medium term engineering and development work in accordance with statutory requirements and policies.
• Drive, lead and promote a motivating and conducive working environment by providing leadership, necessary training for competency, and development opportunities to his sub-ordinates to ensure the creation of a sustainable performance culture within the Department.
• Manage including review, control, and approve annual budgets for the manpower, Capex capital, and Opex operation expenditure of all direct reports through efficient monitoring and control measures to ensure all operations are conducted cost effectively within the approved budget.
• Accountable point of contact for enterprise risk, mitigating and managing risk at the departmental level (risk owner).
• To perform other duties/tasks which may be required by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience as senior position in Petrochemical plant’s maintenance works. 
• A minimum of 5 years in project management - project scoping, execution, and commissioning.

My client is a plastic manufacturing company, and is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager for their Wolverhampton site. Their products are applied within the construction, automotive, marine and leisure industries. The company has over 30 years of experience in the UK market, becoming a leading UK based plastic extrusion manufacturer.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to projects and be involved in performing maintenance and reactive tasks as well as managing a small team of engineers.

Responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with a small team of engineers, provide training, schedule planned maintenance
• Systems such as electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic will be serviced.
• Maintain and upgrade existing plant machinery and equipment at the maintenance workshop following safe engineering procedures to minimize costs.
• Work on welding equipment, grinders, mills, and lathes
• Respond promptly to equipment failures and carry out necessary repairs.
• Coordinate with specialized contractors for specific maintenance needs.

Requirements:

• Apprenticeship/Time Served or Level 3 qualification
• Multi Skilled
• Manufacturing experience, preferably heavy industry
