About the role:


As a Depot Driver, you will play a vital role within our TrainCare Centres to shunt and move trains within our boundaries and keep things moving 24/7. It will be down to you to ensure that trains are prepped and ready to go back into customer service in a timely manner and help to minimise delays.



It’s about working on our TrainCare Centres as safely and efficiently as possible. Our trains and TrainCare Centres operate 7 days a week, you need to be flexible enough to deal with the ever-changing demands. It’s vital that you’re adaptable and that you live within a 45-minute drive of our TrainCare Centre.




Key responsibilities:




This is a varied and challenging role, but here is a taste of what your day-to-day activities could include:

To keep things moving, you’ll drive and shunt the trains around the TrainCare Centre, as required
Fueling our trains to ensure they are ready to go into service each day
You’ll assist in replenishing water tanks
You’ll ensure compliance with all working instructions, standards and rules and regulations
Train Preparation is important, to ensure they are ready to go back into customer service on time
All the while, operating in a safety and time critical environment.
About you:




We expect you to be reliable, and hardworking and you must be willing to work outside, as well as on board our trains, throughout the year. What’s really important is an ability to stay calm and to think on your feet in sometimes difficult situations.



You don’t need previous driving experience as our training course offers all the training you need. You’ll spend your first 5-8 weeks taking part in classroom based learning in either Leeds or Manchester, followed by up to 6 months training within our TrainCare Centres with our full support as you develop your skills. We’ll expect 100% commitment from you on this rewarding yet demanding programme, but our Training Team will be with you all the way when it comes to ongoing assessments and knowledge checks

2. Material Qualification and Accreditation

4. Perform SAP (Systems Application Product) transactions as required to support SBUs directly linked to R&D processes

6. Re-formulation of products and redirection of manufacturing processes as needed

Duties & Responsibilities:

In-charge of the manufacturing process trouble-shooting activities such as but not limited to:

1. Re-processing with advance under-studies product formula and recommends        pertinent percentage inclusion level to the original formulation for commercial process manufacturing
2. Ensures that the following parameters are satisfied within the covered monitoring:
   1. Chemical analysis recovery is within the specified requirement
   2. Physical and testing conformity
   3. Commercial batching conform the re-processing guide;

6. Conducts supporting trial testing parallel to the commercially-identified trouble to rule out root-cause and recommends appropriate corrective actions/ Support on answering and investigation on product complaint

8. Conducts pilot scale and production scale batch trials and technology transfer for new products developed

The NHS Counter Fraud Authority (NHSCFA) is the national body responsible for all matters relating to the prevention, detection and investigation of economic crime across the NHS. Further information about our work and annual plan for delivering this is available on our website.

Our new team are embarking on a piece of work to monitor data to identify and respond to patterns indicative of potential fraud. This will support our current work that reduces the likelihood of fraud occurring. We will bring in data science capabilities to be deployed in counter fraud activity and work closely with partners across health and government to further maximise the preventative impact of proactive counter fraud analysis. In addition to the advertised salary working in the London area will attract High-Cost Area Supplement where appropriate. Design and deliver a range of counter fraud learning activities to NHSCFA people and the wider counter fraud community in line with current legislation, policies and government professionrequirements.Includingpreparing lesson plans,draftingsessioncontentandarangeofpracticalassessments.Subject matter includes all elements of investigative training and management of serious and complex investigations.



Conduct extensive research of legislation and other related matters ensuring trainingmaterialsarekeptuptodateandareappropriateforthecurrentfraudlandscape.

Provideadvicetoallareasoftheorganisationwhereresearch conducted reflects a requirement to update polices or procedures.

Support NHSCFA people and external stakeholders to maintain their continued professional development in line with current policy and requirements of the Government Counter Fraud Profession. Including the analysisandassessmentofexistingskills,knowledgeandcompetenciesand development of action plans.
