This position plans and carries out a wide variety of administrative, management, and program planning activities, and performs the broadest and most significant types of review and management analysis.

At the full performance level, major duties include:

-Provides advice and guidance to RMS supervisors and managers throughout the region on various policy and procedural aspects of administrative programs.

-Resolves problems and develops and implements program improvements as required. Works with the Division of Administration (DOA) on issues concerning personnel management and position management policy, procedures, and other matters affecting RMS personnel administrative programs.

-Processes personnel related actions via HR Systems; prepares Job Validation Packages (JVP) as a finished product; reviews draft position announcements for accuracy and completeness; and provides guidance and interpretation of policies and procedures to the supervisor.

-Develops and prepares reports with data from internal data sources as well as Corporate-automated systems for regular or one-time information needs of senior division managers.

-Monitors various reports to ensure compliance with the FDIC Program policies (e.g. staffing tables, personnel actions; credit card usage, awards and other related administrative functions).

-Provides advice and guidance for improvements and anticipates areas of concern.

-Gathers necessary information, and prepares briefing materials for the supervisor or other division senior management.
