We are searching for a motivated Internship of Accounting student who is an excellent multitasker with exceptional communication and time management skills. This position can expect to assist the accounting department seniors with data entry, processing, and recording transactions, updating the ledger, assisting with audits or fact-checking and other ad-hoc jobs that assigned by supervisor. You should be thorough, accurate, and honest. To secure this position, you should have an understanding of basic Accounting principles and proficiency with computers and software, such as MS Excel. You should be trustworthy, efficient, and organized.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing data entry into UBS or other accounting software that request by clients; (Training will be given by superior)
• Sorting and filing the accounting documents in proper manner
• Support account staff to work out on client' company full set of accounts
• Assist account staff to do the Other ad-hoc task assigned by superior from time to time
• Assist to compiling audit report document for client's company
• Other ad-hoc task assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

• Candidates must possess Bachelor Degree in Accounting (on-going) or with full/partial professional qualification i.e. ACCA, CPA or ACA ;
• Familiar with basic accounting principles;
• Exceptional time management and verbal and written communication skills;
• Professional manner and a strong ethical code, able to maintain confidentiality with high integrity;
• Able to multi-tasking and remain motivated and positive;
• Commitment to work efficiently and accurately;
• Able to work under pressure and able to finish the work assigned within the timeline.

Salary: RM1,200 nett

Period of Internship: could work with us for 6 months from December 2021 or January 2022 onwards.

Accounting & Finance Manager 

Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
• Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and produce financial reports or statements.
• Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles.
• Coordinate and complete annual audits.
• Provide recommendations.
• Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.

Requirements: 

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Accounting or LCCI(optional)
• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager.
• If without Bachelor Degree, min. 6 years of proven related field working experience is required
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases.
• Good knowledge on SQL Accounting Software(ERP Edition) is an added advantage
• Relevant experience in Time Management & Payroll Software is advantage
• Proficient in manipulating large amounts of data.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.

Primary Responsibilities   

• Lead a team responsible for accounting functions for the entire Group

Reporting to the Business Analyst, this role will work closely with other accounting teammates to contribute effectively towards the achievement of organizational financial goals and objectives by delivering prudent and timely work practices in relation to payments and reports.
• Responsible for all payment matters, such as prepare payments to vendors, process post payments in system, reconcile vendor statements, process employee travel claims in the travel system, reimburse employees’ expenses claims, and manage petty cash claims and reimbursements and so on.
• Ensure outstanding invoices are processed timely.
• Liaise with vendors and banks on payment related issues and perform monthly close for Accounts Payable.
• Ensure compliance of withholding tax and its on-time payment.
